Portraits in Monotype
This was my first adventure into watercolou rmonotypes. These pieces were created using only the primary colours on separate pieces of sanded plexiglass. The surface was sanded to allow the paint to bind to the surface. When the paint dried, these were run through a printing press, one at a time, with a damp piece of printmaking paper.
The one exception to the three colour method is the piece with the landscape.
